Rhonda Arrington is a professional event host and emcee.  She is a native of Virginia Beach, VA.  She attended Green Run High School in Virginia Beach for her secondary education.  She also attended Howard University studying film and television production.  After a fifteen year career in customer service, Mrs. Arrington decided to step out on faith and entered a competition to be a local spokesperson for FOX43, known as the Face of FOX43.  She went on accomplish her dream, surpassing the competition and landing what is now her current job as the Face of FOX43.  This current journey has been one full of challenges, adventure and inspiration.  She uses her platform to inspire others as well as entertain them. Mrs. Arrington can be quoted as saying, “if you believe it, live it, because dreams do come true”.   She stands firm in the prophetic word that was spoke into her life at the age of 17, that one day everyone who fell under the sound of her voice would be blessed.  She takes the call of influence and inspiration serious and uses all of her God given talents and gifts to fulfill God’s will upon her life.  With the partnership of her twin sister, Shonda Dawson, they perform comedy.  They bring laughter to everyday life situations, family and general occurrences without vulgarity or profanity.   Mrs. Arrington is also teacher of discipleship, a salvation counselor and a member of the minister in training program at her church; Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Temple in Hampton, VA.  She has been a member of Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Temple for eight years.  Rhonda Arrington also produces an annual black history segment for her church that spotlights the accomplishments of members of the congregation in connection with trailblazers of the past.  The segment is entitled, “The Yesterday Today” series.  She has future aspirations of producing human interest segments and motivating others to live their dreams.  Mrs. Arrington resides in Newport News with her husband Bernard Arrington, Jr. and together they have two children, Morgan an amazing 10 year old spelling bee champ and J-Shon an athletic 8 year old who loves to play basketball and football.
